Maintaining Timed Greetings - This section allows you to set up to 5 different greetings to play at different times of the day, 365 days a year.

From the main menu press 4 for Extra Functions then press 3 to Maintain Timed greetings. Press 1 to set timed greetings – First you set the day of the week, then you set the time range. These settings only relate to personal greetings for each Voice Mail box, using the File Cabinet. After you select the day of the week, you will need to set the time range. We recommend that you use your standard after hours greeting as the default. If none of the time ranges that you set match the OFX time, it will play the default greeting.

Next set your opening hours in time range 5, example (9:00am to 5:00pm). If you would like to set a closed for lunch greeting, use time range 4, example (12:00 pm to 1:00 pm).

This is done because the OFX looks at time range 1 first, if it doesn’t match with the current time it looks at time range 2 etc. This is important because if you were to put your open hours in time range 1 the OFX would look no further until after hours.

Press 2 for File Cabinet Functions – You can hear, record or delete greetings in the File Cabinet. The File Cabinet can be used to store up to 10 different personal greetings that you can set to play based on the time of day.

To keep things simple we recommend that you use File Cabinet #0 for the default greeting and #1 for time range 1 etc.

Note: The File Cabinet is also accessible from the Special Functions menu, Greeting Options. This section will allow you to swap your personal greeting with the File Cabinet for vacations etc.
